Cheese and Wine night - October - This will be on a Friday night mid to end of October.

Bingo Night - Thanks to all those people that turned out for the bingo night the evening was a great success. Well done to the Muirheads who took BIG BEN'S BINGO BALLS top price in the final draw of the night. Watch this space for dates for the next Bingo Night!!!
Whisky Tasting evening - Date is provisionally set for the Friday 30th of November 2007, Cameron from Glenfiddich will be hosting the evening with a variety of whiskey's again watch this space, for more information and remember you will have to book as from recent feed back this could be a popular night!
MOVEMBER - GO THE TASH!!! - Movember is a sponsored moustache growing event, were by the participant comes in to the pub on the 1st of November clean shaven and registers into the event, from this point he.... or she!!!! has all of November to grown a moustache, they will be given a sponsorship form to try and raise money for Testicular cancer and the pub will also be donating 10p for every drink that the participating individual drinks in the pub during the competition.The person with the longest, bushiest, well trimmed and groomed tash will be the winner, and will receive a quality bottle of malt whisky. So Lads get registered at the pub and lets do are bit for Testicular Cancer!!

We have another real ale pump coming on line with in the next 2 weeks. So if you enjoy your real ale come on down and try our regularly changing selction of real ales from all over scotland and the rest of the UK.
27 July 2007 - Music Night
You will all be pleased to hear that Willie and the 1/2 pints will be returning to the Cross Keys this Friday coming the 3rd of August music will be starting about 9pm.

The date has been set fro the Cross Keys Inn Bingo Night it will be taking place on the Wednesday 22nd of August, please arrive by 7:45 pm. REMEMBER TO PLEASE BOOK IN ADVANCE AS SPACE IS LIMITED!
27 July 2007 - Sports Room
For all you sport fans you will be pleased to hear that the new pool / sport room will be opening for business end of next week, with a new paint job a 42" flat screen tv in time for the rugby world cup and finally a new pool table! Watch this space for a pool league which may start during the winter. Please remember "abuse it and you lose it"
26 July 2007 - Quiz Night
Thanks to all that participated in the quiz, the night was a great success with over 12 teams entering. A big congratulations to the Bridge End WAGS on their 1/2 point win! A very close contested battle. The next quiz will be taking place mid September so please remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment as space is limited! Have a look at the pictures.

We had our first major event last night with a live music night. As you can see from the pictures it was a great success. We are planning on making this a regular event, with big thanks to Willie, Ally and Andrew.
